Our optometry clinic in Stoney Creek is located in the prestigious Stoney Creek Professional Arts Building on Queenston Road next to the Fortinos Plaza.

We have five doctors to serve you, which are all certified in ocular therapeutics. We are open six days a week, including early mornings and evenings. There is free parking at the rear of the building and our clinic is wheelchair accessible and close to all major bus routes.


Dr. Fernick studied at the University of Waterloo, receiving his Doctor of Optometry.

Dr. Fernick immediately opened practice in Stoney Creek, moving into the present location in 1987 and doubling the size of his office in 2007. Married with two children he is active in the community having served 2 terms as president of the Hamilton District Society of Optometrists and 6 years as a Club Scout Leader.


Dr. Colalillo-Lalonde was born and raised in Toronto.

She attended the University of Western Ontario, where she received a Bachelor of Science in 1987. She then received a doctorate of Optometry from the University of Waterloo in 1991, with honors. Since then she has been practicing general optometry in Stoney Creek at our office, where she particularly enjoys contact lens practice and working with children. She lives in the area with her husband Denis and their two children.


Dr. Hadzocos graduated with honors from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 2011.

He also has an honors Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from McMaster University. During his studies he did an ocular health rotation at a multidisciplinary clinic in Alabama where he had the opportunity to work with corneal, pediatric strabismus, cataract, and glaucoma specialists. Dr. Hadzocos is dedicated to providing the full spectrum of family primary eyecare services with a special interest in ocular health. Dr. Hadzocos is married with two children.



Dr. Stodulka joined the team in the summer of 2002.

He graduated with honours in 2001 from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry and also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from McMaster University. Dr. Stodulka is married with three children. He completed his externship in Ocular Health at Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. He has also, in past years, been a clinical supervisor at the school of optometry in the contact lens and low vision clinics. Rob’s interest is in family eye care but has a large portion of his practice dedicated to diabetic eye care, dry eye and low vision.


Dr. Julia Baltais completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in BioMedical Science at the University of Guelph.

She went onto attend The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Throughout her education, Dr. Baltais had the opportunity to complete internships in the Boston area, as well as at a large ophthalmology practice in Miami, Florida. It was here that she gained valuable experience in treating and managing ocular disease, conducting contact lens fittings, and treating geriatric and pediatric patients. Dr. Baltais lives in Burlington with her husband. Her interests outside of the exam room including; baking, hiking, canoeing and camping.


Dr. Adam Jeary

Dr. Jeary graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo in 2013 earning a degree in biomedical science.

He then graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2019. While completing his optometry degree, he had the opportunity to work in a large ocular health clinic in Miami, providing experience working with corneal, cataract and retinal specialists. He has a particular interest in contact lenses, ocular health and primary care optometry. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Jeary enjoys exercising and hiking.
